Originally from central Pennsylvania, I moved to VA with my wife Christine in 1988. Since then, Christine & I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters and a new hometown called Culpeper.
I came to the Christian faith in my early 20’s, when after having strayed from my Christian upbringing I found myself in a very dark place in life. In a sincere search for the living God, I found forgiveness, healing and a new life in Christ.
I received my education in information systems & computer science at various community colleges and then on to the University of Mary Washington. I worked as a computer programmer for a time and then moved into positions in business & operations management.
Attended various Methodist churches over the years and it was not until I felt the Lord’s call to make my faith count in this life that I became more active in the church. After participating in Bible and small group studies, I was blessed to have been called to serve in leadership roles in evangelism, men’s ministry, in various Bible study classes, and now as a member of the Trustee team at SFCC.
Looking back, I am so thankful that the Lord drew me into His Kingdom at I time when I was lost in the ways of the world. How my life could have been different without God’s Word & Spirit to guide me and my family.
I feel very blessed to have come to worship with the congregation at Stand Firm Christian Church. It is here that the full counsel of God’s Word is taught, fellowship & love of fellow believers is found, and where we experience growth together as disciples of Christ.
